If your workflows include IP, especially in cases where you need low latency streaming capability, there’s a new encoder you should know about.
The latest addition to VITEC’s popular line of openGear encoders and decoders is the SMPTE ST 2110 Diamond-IP OG Encoder. It supports uncompressed video or JPEG-XS compressed video inputs, and outputs HEVC or H.264 compressed streams.

You can use the Diamond-IP OG in workflows with a variety of streaming protocols, as well as a variety of forward error correction protocols including Zixi, SRT, and RIST. And it supports low latency streaming and AES encryption.
